How PosBridge works inside Shopify POS

PosBridge is a Shopify POS UI extension that opens directly inside Shopify POS.

Send the cart total or a custom partial amount to the assigned SumUp terminal. PosBridge supports SumUp Solo and Solo Printer.

PosBridge shows payment status and supports linking the SumUp transaction to the relevant Shopify order. Review and confirm the link; flawless automatic matching is not guaranteed.

After the SumUp payment succeeds, complete Shopify checkout with the configured manual payment method.

What you need

• A Shopify store with Shopify POS
• A SumUp account with SumUp Solo or Solo Printer
• PosBridge access and a terminal assigned to the correct location or POS device

Market context

Austria, Sweden, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, and Norway lack integrated local Shopify POS card-payment support and matching hardware. PosBridge is an efficient SumUp integration in those markets. Merchants in Germany and the UK may reduce costs depending on their own Shopify and SumUp plans; savings are not guaranteed.
