Set Up Quick Mode (Auto-Send)
Send payments automatically without manual confirmation.
With Quick Mode, payment is automatically sent to the terminal after a configurable countdown — without manually tapping "Start payment". As soon as the cashier opens the POSBridge tile, the countdown starts and the payment is sent automatically.
Ideal for:
- Cafes and fast-food with short customer contact
- High-throughput checkouts
- Environments where the cashier needs both hands free
Open Settings
POSBridge app → Settings in the navigation.
Enable Quick Mode
Section POS Extension → Enable Quick Mode toggle.
Set countdown duration
Select how long the countdown runs before payment is automatically sent: 0 sec (instant), 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 seconds.
Tip: 3 seconds still allows time to cancel if needed, without slowing down the flow.
Save
Click Save. Quick Mode is now active.
Want to cancel? Tap the timer during the countdown to stop it — the payment will not be sent and you can still adjust the amount.
Does Quick Mode apply to all staff?
Yes. Quick Mode is an app-wide setting and applies to all cashiers at all locations. Individual staff can always cancel the countdown by tapping the timer.
Can Quick Mode be different per location?
No, Quick Mode is a global setting for all locations and cashiers.
